Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel DC (ranked 24775 p4p, 4170 weight class) and Mick McMick (ranked 0 p4p, 455 weight class). DC comes to the cage accompanied by Wolf Totem. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mick McMick!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMick scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
DC prevents McMick from moving into mount.
McMick looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
McMick looking to control but instead DC has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
McMick is stalling here. DC is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McMick seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and DC has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

McMick has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but DC is on him like a limpet, forcing McMick back against the cage.
McMick tightens his grip and picks DC up, before dumping him to the ground. DC manages to land in guard.

McMick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DC swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McMick with a flurry of punches that miss.
McMick passes DC's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
McMick takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
McMick wants to pass to mount but DC is defending the position.
DC is not content to let McMick control the position.
McMick works his way into full mount!

McMick closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McMick lands in his opponent's guard.
McMick drops back looking for a leg! DC is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DC manages to kick McMick off! McMick jumps back into DC's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

McMick drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

McMick is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

McMick has hold of DC's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and DC manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
McMick has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McMick throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for DC because McMick loaded up on that one.

McMick has hold of DC's arm. He's looking for a kimura. DC seems comfortable defending it but McMick has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! DC is real pain and he's forced to tap out! DC is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but McMick couldn't care less - he's delighted!
