Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Couture might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to i got to be unstoppable. Smith has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Smith had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Couture is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Smith Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Couture's back instead.
Smith is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Couture defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Couture rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Couture misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Couture on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Couture tries to get out of the position.
Smith in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Couture tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Smith!
