Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cannon.
Ellis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cannon avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Cannon scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ellis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A jab from Cannon does it's job there.
Ellis wants to clinch but Cannon slips to the side
and Cannon counters with a nice right hand that sends Ellis toppling to the canvas! Ellis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cannon finish him?!
Ellis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ellis darts in trying to clinch
and Cannon counters with a huge left! Ellis is in big trouble! He's backing up but Cannon isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Ellis from any more damage. A dominating finish by Cannon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Cannon!
