Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlastimil Vyr (ranked 3189 p4p, 3128 weight class) and Kimbo Slaissi (ranked 176 p4p, 174 weight class). Kimbo Slaissi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vlastimil Vyr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kimbo Slaissi!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vyr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slaissi.
Slaissi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
An attempted straight right counter from Vyr misses the target.
Slaissi tries a low kick but Vyr avoids it.
Slaissi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Vyr scores with a shot to the body.
Slaissi misses with a combination
and Vyr counters with a straight right hand.
Kimbo Slaissi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slaissi takes a swing at Vyr's ribcage but misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Vyr misses its target.
Vyr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slaissi.
Slaissi misses the shot to the body.
Vyr throws a jab but it's blocked by Slaissi.

Vyr takes a swing at Slaissi's ribcage but misses.
Slaissi throws a counter combo.
Vlastimil Vyr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Slaissi misses with an uppercut.

and Vyr counters with a straight right hand.
Slaissi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vyr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vyr throws a body punch but Slaissi moves out of range.

Slaissi rushes Vyr and presses him up against the cage.
Slaissi lands with a left to the head.
Vyr stalling.
Vyr effectively controlling the action here.
Vyr lands a right hand.
Vyr is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Slaissi tries to throw a body punch but Vyr avoids it by throwing Slaissi back against the cage.
Slaissi has a couple of punches blocked by Vyr.
Slaissi misses with a hook from the clinch.
Slaissi throws an elbow that misses.
Vyr softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

It looks like Kimbo Slaissi has been cut.
Vyr stalls.
Vyr stalls.
Vyr dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Vyr is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Vlastimil Vyr.

Vyr moves into the clinch successfully.

Slaissi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Vyr taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Slaissi avoids the elbow strike from Vyr, against the cage.
Vyr swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Vyr content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Vyr is pushing Slaissi up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Vlastimil Vyr.
Slaissi moves out of range of the strikes.
Slaissi misses with a head kick.
Vyr scores with a jab to the body.
Slaissi ducks under a wild hook from Vyr.
Vyr waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Slaissi.
Slaissi throws out a counter right but Vyr avoids it with no problem.
Slaissi lands with an overhand left.
Slaissi misses with a body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Slaissi throws a head kick but Vyr moves out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vlastimil Vyr will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Vyr moves out of range of the strikes.
Whack! Slaissi lands a heavy head kick that drops Vyr. The ref tackles Slaissi to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Vyr was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Kimbo Slaissi!
A very excited looking Kimbo Slaissi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
