Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Noel Pham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Collins!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pham pushes Collins up against the ropes in a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Collins.
Collins gets through Pham's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Collins is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pham is keeping busy.

Pham breaks the clinch.

Pham clinches up with Collins and pushes him back against the ropes.
Pham taking a breather.
A nice left hand lands by Collins.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Collins.
Pham misses with the head strike.
Pham throws a head punch that misses.

Collins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pham forces Collins back against the ropes and clinches.
Pham has had enough of the clinch but Collins keeps him there for the moment.

Collins manages to break the clinch.

Pham moves into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pham stalling in the clinch but Collins improves position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pham.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Collins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Collins misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pham.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pham wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Collins has him pressed against the ropes.
Collins told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Pham managing to block the knees to the body from Collins.
Collins tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Collins trying to stall but Pham improves his position.
Collins tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pham avoids it.
Collins tries a knee to the head but Pham blocks it.
Collins lands a hook that snaps the head of Pham backwards.

Pham is rocked!

Collins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Oh Pham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Collins connects with a nice cross there... Pham is looking wobbly and Collins recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Pham to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Collins jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Matt Collins!
Matt Collins tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
