Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Theo Damus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryan Snyder!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Damus stalks Snyder and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Snyder's face. Snyder staggers backwards, shaken.
A nice leg kick lands there from Damus.
Snyder throws a shot to the body.
Snyder avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Danga de danga de dang - Snyder scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Theo Damus has been cut.
Snyder will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Damus gets tackled into the ropes by Snyder. Snyder maintains the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Damus is trying to push Snyder away but Snyder has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Snyder lands a left hand that snaps the head of Damus backwards.

Damus is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

Damus looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Damus tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Snyder manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Damus counters with a nice body shot.
Snyder smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Damus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Snyder paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Snyder misses with a series of wild punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
No joy there for Damus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snyder now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Damus avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Snyder throws a right and a left that Damus avoids nicely.
Damus tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Snyder manages to circle out of the way.

Snyder has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Damus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Snyder, pushing him back against the ropes.

Damus can't find room to land a body shot as Snyder controls the action.

Snyder lands a hook that snaps the head of Damus backwards.

Snyder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Damus fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Snyder checks it well.
Snyder fails to land with a series of punches.
Theo Damus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snyder tries to bum rush Damus with a series of wild strikes but Damus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Damus dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Snyder. That did some damage!
Snyder throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Damus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Damus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Snyder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Damus throws a head kick but Snyder moves out of range.
Damus moves in looking to clinch but Snyder pushes him off.

A bone on bone clash there as Snyder blocks the leg kick.
Despite the aggression on Snyder's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Snyder misses with a series of wild punches.
Damus fires out a quick counter leg kick but Snyder just manages to avoid it.
Snyder attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Snyder scores with a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Snyder takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Damus looks to score with a jab to the body but Snyder is just out of range.

Bryan Snyder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Snyder scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Damus to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Snyder away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Damus got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Snyder catches Damus napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Damus crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Snyder raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bryan Snyder!
In defeat, Theo Damus stepped up to the mic, saying 'We'll just have to work harder.'.
