Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Cesar Pitt (ranked 4808 p4p, 4515 weight class) and Serul Dathren (ranked 455 p4p, 421 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cesar Pitt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Serul Dathren!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitt misses with a hook
and Dathren counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Cesar Pitt has been cut.
Dathren dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A good leg kick by Dathren.
Pitt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pitt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A jab from Pitt does it's job there.
A big right from Pitt misses.
Cesar Pitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dathren moves away.
Nice defenses there by Dathren.
Dathren throws a leg kick but Pitt moved away.
Pitt misses with a hook
and Dathren cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dathren lands with a cross.
Pitt has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Pitt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pitt looks to land a left hand but Dathren moved out of range nicely.
Dathren bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pitt misses with a hook to the body
and Dathren counters with a straight right hand.
Pitt misses with an uppercut
and Dathren counters with a nice uppercut that drops Pitt onto his backside! Pitt bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.
Cesar Pitt's cut is getting worse.
Dathren on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pitt throws an off balance right hand
and Dathren counters with a straight right hand.
Pitt is rocked!
Pitt leaves his chin hanging out and Dathren seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pitt crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Serul Dathren!
An out of breath Serul Dathren thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
