The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Nastula throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Budluvski's waist but Budluvski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nastula off to one side. Budluvski wants to counter with a clinch but Nastula pushes him away. Budluvski instigates a clinch. Nastula has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Budluvski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Budluvski has Nastula pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Budluvski pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nastula tumbling to the mat - Budluvski dives into Nastula's guard. Good control from Budluvski. Budluvski looking to break Nastula's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Nastula remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Budluvski will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Budluvski has the hooks in. Nastula is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. What can Nastula do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Nastula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Budluvski on the ground.
