Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kanker Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Mcshane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Mcshane lands a lovely overhand right.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mcshane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kid misses with a takedown attempt - Mcshane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kid.
Kid tries for a takedown but Mcshane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Despite being in the dominant position, Billy Mcshane just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mcshane looks to land a combination. Kid sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

That was a close round but I would say that Kanker Kid will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kid's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

so Kid counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcshane is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Kid is staying active.

Kid is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mcshane sees it coming and defends easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kid here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mcshane tries to clinch but Kid is having none of it.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mcshane has eaten all the pies!
Kid tries to keep at a distance but Mcshane has taken the fight into the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kid has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mcshane is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kid gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mcshane.

Mcshane pulls Kid in close to prevent any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kid shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcshane's guard.

Kid won't allow Mcshane to sweep him here.
Kid has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mcshane to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kid is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mcshane pulls down on the head and he's put Kid to sleep! This one is all over!
