Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Arlin (ranked 5110 p4p, 5131 weight class) and Jake Walton (ranked 473 p4p, 476 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Walton lands with a cross.
Walton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Arlin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Arlin swings widly with a right hand
and Walton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fighters circling - Arlin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A little jabbing left from Walton on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A decent looking cross lands there for Arlin.
Arlin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Walton moves out of range of the strikes.
Walton throws out a counter right but Arlin avoids it with no problem.
Walton throws a combination. Arlin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Arlin misses with a straight right.
Arlin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Arlin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Walton paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Arlin is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walton tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Walton jumps guard but Arlin stands there with Walton around his waist. Walton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Walton is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Arlin rolls with it to try and escape but Walton cranks on the arm and Arlin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
