Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard John Salvacion (ranked 23825 p4p, 24015 weight class) and Gakus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 51 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 49 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Amiga counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Salvacion is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense.
Salvacion shoots in and bounces Amiga off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Amiga closes this distance looking for a takedown but Salvacion circles away.

Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Amiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Amiga steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Salvacion is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Amiga's shoulder. That is not cool.
Amiga is trying to control Salvacion's posture but Salvacion avoids it.
Salvacion wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amiga keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Amiga is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Salvacion's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Amiga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Salvacion is working away from the top position though.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Salvacion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Salvacion is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Salvacion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Amiga quickly recovers to half guard.
Amiga is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Salvacion's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Salvacion's back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Let's hope that Amiga has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Salvacion steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Amiga. That one must have hurt.
Gakus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Richard John Salvacion is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Amiga looks for a takedown but Salvacion sprawls well.
And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Amiga blocks it.

Gakus Amiga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
