Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Won Il Kwon (ranked 4060 p4p, 3407 weight class) and Toinen Nopsa Saari (ranked 250 p4p, 221 weight class). Won Il Kwon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Won Il Kwon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Toinen Nopsa Saari! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Saari misses its intended target. Kwon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Saari throws out the jab. Kwon slips under a jab. Kwon blocks a jab. As Saari looks to move away, Kwon throws a big counter combo but Saari just gets out of the way. A telegraphed right hand from Saari misses the target. Kwon clobbers Saari with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kwon slips under a jab. Saari looks to land a right hand but Kwon moved out of range. Kwon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Saari has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Saari there as he acknowledges the shot. Kwon throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Saari's head. Toinen Nopsa Saari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kwon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Saari finds it's way round the side to connect with Kwon's head. Saari cracks Kwon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kwon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Saari finish him?
Kwon is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saari looks to throw the jab but Kwon is out of range. Oh Kwon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Saari rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kwon counters with a stiff right hand. Kwon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Saari in his tracks. Kwon slips a straight right by Saari. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kwon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kwon duly obliges. Kwon goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kwon misses with a head kick.
Kwon seems to have got his legs back now. Kwon has a takedown stuffed. Saari cracks Kwon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saari takes one on the button. Kwon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kwon moves out of range of the strikes. Saari throws a hook but Kwon blocks it. A combination from Kwon does no damage. Nice shot by Kwon. Kwon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Saari connects with a body shot. Kwon is breathing heavily. Saari lands a nice shot that snaps Kwon's head back.
Saari thows a left - swing and a miss! Saari cracks Kwon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Saari has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kwon to stand back up! This has been an exciting period of action! A telegraphed right hand from Kwon misses the target. Saari misses with the combination.
Kwon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Saari throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kwon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A swing and a miss from Saari. Kwon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Saari feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kwon sprawling to the canvas! Kwon rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Saari finish him?!
Toinen Nopsa Saari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Saari misses with an uppercut. Kwon saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kwon walks straight into a right hand from Saari - that's dropped him! Saari jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kwon from any more punishment! Kwon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Toinen Nopsa Saari!
