The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Smash Adams has been cut.
Saari looks for a takedown but Adams sprawls well.
Adams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saari's guard.

Saari is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Saari doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Saari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Saari is tightening it up a little... Adams has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Adams reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Adams taps out! Nice BJJ there by Saari!
