Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Astolfo Picadura (ranked 2775 p4p, 5820 weight class) and Dana Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Astolfo Picadura could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dana Redd's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Astolfo Picadura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dana Redd!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picadura will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Redd counters with a nice double leg into side control. Picadura won't be happy with that.

Redd is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well Redd has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
