Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Michael (ranked 25351 p4p, 25353 weight class) and Aryan Pande (ranked 515 p4p, 512 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Michael might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to vuk vuku nikad covek. Andy Michael had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Michael!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aryan Pande!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Pande misses.
Michael drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pande sprawls and moves away.

Michael gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pande to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Pande wants to stand but Michael is controlling his posture from full guard.
Pande chips away with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pande throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Pande engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Pande wants to get up but he can't break Michael's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Pande fails to land with a series of punches.
Michael half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Pande closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Pande breaks the clinch.

Pande connects with a good right hand that stumbles Michael. Michael circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Pande closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pande in particular looking to stall.
Michael is breathing heavily.
Pande passes to side control.

Pande tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pande has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pande controls the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Michael is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pande is controlling him well.
Michael is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pande connects with a decent elbow.
Pande content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
It looks like Pande might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pande has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Pande looking to control and managing it successfully.
Pande is continuing to stall.

Pande wants to get back to his feet but Michael is holding on tight.
Pande landing strikes from the mount and Michael is in trouble!
Michael is trying to stand up.

Pande moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Michael has worked his arm free - good work by Michael!
Pande advances nicely into full mount.

That's six minutes gone in the round.

Michael tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Pande controlling from the full mount.
Pande scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Michael?

Michael is trying to escape the mount but Pande keeps good control and instead manages to take Michael's back.

That's seven minutes gone in the round.
Pande is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Pande gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Pande gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Pande apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Pande rushes Michael and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Pande tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Michael avoids it.

Pande lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Michael wants to stand back up but Pande manages to pass into side control.
Pande takes a little break here. Michael wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Pande wants to stand but Michael is controlling his arm.
Check out the look on Pande's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Pande advances to mount.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Pande sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Pande wants to finish this one by submission but Michael is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pande.
Pande is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Michael can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pande controlling the pace for now.
Pande pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Aryan Pande dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Michael avoids the head kick by Pande.
Pande keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Pande takes the fight into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Pande - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pande gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Michael is trying to escape back to his feet but Pande uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pande stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Pande tries to move into range but Michael moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Pande clinches up with Michael and pushes him back against the ropes.

Pande has clasped his hands together around Michael's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Pande content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pande works to advance to full mount. Michael defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The referee warns Michael that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pande content just to control the position here.
Pande is looking to stand but Michael has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Pande has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pande moves to the back.
What can Michael do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Michael is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Pande gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Pande has good solid back control here.

Pande is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Michael is tapping out! This one is all over!
