Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Mazepin (ranked 3838 p4p, 2219 weight class) and Mawashi Geri (ranked 370 p4p, 224 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mazepin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to boom. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 36 - 49 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mawashi Geri! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ron Honeybunn and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mazepin looks for a takedown but Geri sprawls well. Mazepin shoots in looking for a takedown but Geri manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mazepin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mazepin dives in for a single leg takedown but Geri sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Mazepin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Geri is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Mazepin can't fight it off and eventually Geri manages to take the fight to the floor. Mazepin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Geri with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Geri content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Geri is stalling in the full guard. Mazepin working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Geri has passed into half guard!
That's one minute gone in the round. Geri controlling the pace. Mazepin taking some punishment here, with Geri in his half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Mazepin actively working from the bottom here. Geri with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Geri tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mazepin. Mazepin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mazepin wants to improve his position but Geri is controlling well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Geri in particular looking to stall. Geri escapes and gets back to his feet. Mazepin dodges the punch combination from Geri.
Mazepin fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good leg kick by Geri. Geri misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Geri misses with the body kick and Mazepin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mazepin. Mazepin lands a couple of decent looking shots. Geri wants to get back to his feet but Mazepin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are working up against the ropes. Geri manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the ropes. Geri has picked Mazepin up - he's going for a ride! Geri dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Geri is figuring out what he wants to do next. Mazepin actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mazepin looking for submissions off his back. Geri controlling the action here. Mazepin punching from the bottom.
Geri works his way into full mount! Geri controlling the pace for now.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Mazepin flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Geri tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Geri scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Mazepin tries to lock up and control but Geri gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mazepin is looking to improve his position but Geri isn't that keen on the idea. Geri lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Geri has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mazepin's face.
Geri takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Geri tries to control but Mazepin wriggling away. Geri has control of Mazepin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mazepin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Geri looking to control but Mazepin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Geri pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut. Geri lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mazepin hang on? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mazepin in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mawashi Geri! Mawashi Geri very nearly forgot to thank Furnace Performance 🔥 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Fedor Mazepin was interviewed post fight and said 'until next time'.
