PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Caden Lee (ranked 3680 p4p, 3804 weight class) and Emiliano Steele (ranked 244 p4p, 250 weight class). Lee comes into the arena with Purge announcement blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Caden Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Emiliano Steele!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Steele slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Steele trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom.

Steele wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well.
Steele working the ground and pound.

Steele tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position.
Lee misses with a strike from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee tries to bench press Steele off him but Steele keeps the position.
Lee gets back to half guard.
Steele perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steele looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Steele pulls his head out easily.

Steele scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Steele winds up and cracks Lee with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Steele moves nicely into side control.
Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Steele wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Steele in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Lee is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
