Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mr Pancit!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pancit slips under a jab from Boycheck.
Boycheck throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pancit changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Pancit bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pancit misses with a takedown
and Boycheck counters with a stiff right hand.
Boycheck connects with a body shot that sends Pancit's belly button to the back.
Boycheck is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pancit.
Pancit avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mitka Boycheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boycheck defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pancit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boycheck lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Pancit fails to land the takedown.
Mitka Boycheck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Pancit.
The crowd cheers as Boycheck lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pancit doesn't seem phased though.

Boycheck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pancit bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Boycheck bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boycheck scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pancit doesn't seem bothered though.
Pancit takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Boycheck lands with an uppercut that bounces Pancit off the cage and back into range.
Pancit gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Boycheck.
Boycheck lands with a nice combination. Pancit backs away looking to recover.
Pancit uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boycheck.
A big left from Boycheck misses.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boycheck throws a hook but Pancit avoids it easily.
Boycheck dips to his left and cracks Pancit with an uppercut!
Boycheck sizes up Pancit with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boycheck displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pancit.
The crowd cheers as Boycheck lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pancit doesn't seem phased though.
Boycheck misses with a hook.
A slow jab from Boycheck misses its intended target.
Pancit feints a counter leg kick.
Boycheck is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Boycheck stuffs the takedown.
Boycheck throws a looping overhand right but Pancit ducks down to avoid it.

Pancit slips a straight right by Boycheck.
Mitka Boycheck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boycheck throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Pancit counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Boycheck!

Pancit working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Pancit tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pancit has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Pancit tries for a kimura but Boycheck is defending well.
Pancit sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Boycheck is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Pancit has hold of Boycheck's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Boycheck tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pancit cranks the arm and Boycheck screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Boycheck, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mr Pancit!
