The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schilt blocks a leg kick.
Couture definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A swing and a miss from Couture.
Donk. Couture catches Schilt right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Stefan Schilt has been cut.
Couture moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Schilt scores with a kick to the body.
Couture throws a chopping leg kick but Schilt manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Schilt cracks Couture with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Xavierntreal Couture has been cut.
Couture pivots, looking for a leg kick but Schilt is out of range and Couture settles back down.
A big left from Couture misses.
Schilt has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Couture.
Couture misses with a few strikes there.
Schilt jabs Couture to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Couture is breathing heavily.
Schilt thuds his shin into the meat of Couture's side.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schilt cracks Couture with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Couture looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Schilt finish him?
Schilt weaves into range and cracks Couture right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Couture goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Schilt is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stefan Schilt!
