Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khamzat Aliyev (ranked 2917 p4p, 3301 weight class) and Kristopher Marks (ranked 165 p4p, 181 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Khamzat Aliyev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kristopher Marks! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aliyev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marks as he avoids it easily. Aliyev has his takedown stuffed and Marks counters with a nice right hand that sends Aliyev toppling to the canvas! Aliyev scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Marks finish him?!
It looks like Khamzat Aliyev has been cut. Aliyev scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aliyev is controlling the pace.
Aliyev not landing any meaningful shots this time. Marks is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Marks looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Aliyev is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aliyev has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Aliyev tries to pass to full mount but Marks defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aliyev is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Still in half guard, Aliyev seems content to control. Marks is pressing down on Aliyev's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Aliyev throws a strike but Marks rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Aliyev wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aliyev is looking to sweep but instead, Marks has passed into half guard.
Aliyev wants to get back to full guard. Aliyev is looking to control Marks's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Aliyev avoid being mounted? Aliyev wants to improve his position but Marks is controlling well.
Aliyev slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Aliyev is trying to control the position but Marks postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aliyev wants to sweep here but Marks controlling him for the moment. Marks looking to pass the guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. An inside leg kick from Aliyev misses. A countering left hand to the body from Marks misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Aliyev has a takedown stuffed. Marks swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khamzat Aliyev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aliyev shoots in for a takedown but Marks shows good takedown defense. Aliyev doesn't succeed with the takedown and Marks counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
