Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Clark (ranked 2032 p4p, 2716 weight class) and Gopnik Skwat (ranked 145 p4p, 194 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matthew Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gopnik Skwat! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clark on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Skwat. Skwat obviously looking to wear him down.
Clark fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skwat manages to avoid it. Skwat dips to his left and cracks Clark with an uppercut! Good exchange - Clark coming out on top. Clark clobbers Skwat with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Clark lands with a hook. Skwat tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Skwat moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A big left from Skwat misses. Clark swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Clark lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice cross by Clark. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Skwat uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clark.

and Clark counters with a nice uppercut. Clark looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Skwat pushes Clark up against the cage in a clinch. Clark throws a head punch that misses. Skwat jumps guard but Clark turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Clark prevents a takedown attempt there.

Clark is leaning against Skwat and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. A head punch on the inside from Skwat fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skwat misses with a hook from the clinch. Clark misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Clark lands a hook to the side of the head. Clark tries to circle away but Skwat has him pinned against the cage. Clark tries to work over Skwat's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Skwat lands a hook to the side of the head. Skwat lands with a short shot to the head. Clark blocks a body shot from Skwat. Skwat blocking some punches.
Clark blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Clark misses with the head strike.
Clark prevents a body shot from Skwat. Skwat tries to work over Clark's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Skwat goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Skwat fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Skwat jumps into guard, dragging Clark to the mat.
Skwat has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Clark should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Skwat has tightened it up now! Clark should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
