Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bronco (ranked 1592 p4p, 886 weight class) and Grigoriy Petrov (ranked 196 p4p, 107 weight class). Bronco comes to the cage accompanied by The Horses - Daryl Braithwaite . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Grigoriy Petrov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petrov's waist but Petrov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bronco off to one side.
Bronco misses with a body shot.
Petrov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bronco.
Bronco throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Petrov on the side of the head.
Petrov throws a lazy right hand but Bronco sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bronco crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Petrov - the referee stops the clock and Bronco gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Petrov. Bronco manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Bronco.
I think Petrov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
