Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ahoura Ghaderi (ranked 4040 p4p, 4782 weight class) and Dana White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahoura Ghaderi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ahoura Ghaderi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dana White!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ron Honeybunn and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghaderi clinches with his opponent.
Ghaderi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but White regains guard immediately.
White is wriggling around but Ghaderi manages to pass to half guard.
White is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ghaderi scores with a couple of nice shots.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ghaderi looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ghaderi is nestled in close to White, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ghaderi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ghaderi connects with a nice short shot to White's temple.

Ghaderi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks White with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ghaderi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ghaderi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ghaderi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down White for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

White misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
White gets tackled into the cage by Ghaderi. Ghaderi maintains the clinch.
Ghaderi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ghaderi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
White is trying to escape back to his feet but Ghaderi uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Ghaderi looks up at the clock and then as White takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ghaderi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ghaderi content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Ghaderi scores with a couple of short elbows.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ghaderi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for White!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Ghaderi connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Ghaderi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sloppy strikes from Ghaderi. Those never looked like landing.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ghaderi tightens his grip and picks White up, before dumping him to the ground. White manages to land in guard.
Ghaderi is standing up over White. White looks to escape but Ghaderi dives into side control.
White is looking for a sweep.
A lull in the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White is breathing heavily.

White takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ghaderi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. White is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ghaderi yanks on the arm and White is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ghaderi.
