Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Weiss (ranked 3201 p4p, 3001 weight class) and David Snake (ranked 389 p4p, 377 weight class). Daniel Weiss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Weiss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Snake! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Weiss. Weiss sets himself, and Snake steps forward looking for the clinch! Weiss avoids it this time. Weiss definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Snake pushes Weiss up against the cage in a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Snake. Weiss lands a nice uppercut. Snake tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Snake is trying to pull guard but Weiss has him pressed against the cage. Weiss has a couple of punches blocked by Snake.
Snake fails to pull guard.
Daniel Weiss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Snake. Weiss scores with a shot to the side of Snake's head. Weiss working aggressively here.
Snake tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Weiss smiles and moves away.
Weiss throws a jab when Snake was well out of range. Snake slips a straight right by Weiss. Snake moves into the clinch. Weiss misses with a punch on the inside.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head punch on the inside from Weiss fails to land. Snake blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snake gets control of Weiss's arms and successfully pulls guard. Snake will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Snake looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Weiss is defending well. Snake quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Weiss has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Snake celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
