Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kiwi Kunt (ranked 2797 p4p, 5086 weight class) and Do You Know The Way (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kiwi Kunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Do You Know The Way! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Way throws a lazy uppercut
and Kunt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The Way closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kunt to the mat! Kunt manages to get full guard. The Way sitting in guard here, content to control. It looks like The Way might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Kunt looking for subs off his back but The Way has passed one foot through into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kunt is concentrating on defense, preventing The Way from advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kunt is looking to get back to is feet but The Way passes into side control.
The Way content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Kunt wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The Way just content to control the position. The Way tries to move to mount but Kunt blocks the move with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A bit of a lull in the action here. Kunt wants to get back to his feet. The Way is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kunt will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kunt stops The Way from passing to mount.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kunt connects with a body shot that sends The Way's belly button to the back. Kunt lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Do You Know The Way has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kunt bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Kunt gets caught napping as The Way dives in and scores a takedown. Kunt manages to retain guard. Kunt is looking to stand up but The Way isn't so interested in that idea. The Way not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kunt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kunt wants to stand and escape but The Way is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kunt working a defensive guard but The Way manages to pass into side control anyway.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kunt tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The Way controlling from mount. The Way prevents Kunt from getting the reversal. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Do You Know The Way dominated that round. The cut man is working on Do You Know The Way's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Kunt is looking to clinch but The Way is avoiding it.

and Kunt counters with a two punch combo. The Way throws a hook but Kunt avoids it easily. Kunt appears to be looking for a big counter. Kunt throws a head kick that misses. The Way takes a shot right to the bread basket. The Way tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kunt swats him away and circles back towards the center. The Way tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Kunt was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. A good leg kick by Kunt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Way fails with the takedown. The Way fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kunt sprawls well initially but The Way persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kunt scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but The Way manages to mount him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kunt is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Way controlling from mount. Kunt can't escape the position.
The Way looking to control and managing it successfully. Kunt is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Way content just to control the position here. The Way avoids the attempt from Kunt to control. Kunt keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Way sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kunt is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kunt wants to hold on but The Way pushes him away. Kunt wants to get back to his feet.

Do You Know The Way has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The Way content just to control the position here. Kunt is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

A close second round but Do You Know The Way will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Do You Know The Way's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Kunt slaps away a takedown attempt from The Way, before circling back to the center of the mat. As The Way looks to move away, Kunt throws a big counter combo but The Way just gets out of the way. The Way misses with an uppercut. Kunt saw that one coming. Kunt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from The Way. Left hook, right uppercut from Kunt. The Way misses with a body punch

and The Way counters by clinching up. Kunt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kunt is trying to push The Way away but The Way has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Kunt is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Way works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Kunt wants to control the position but The Way says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Kunt wants to improve his position but The Way is controlling well.
The Way content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The Way stops Kunt from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kunt is trying to stand up here but The Way is controlling him well. The Way sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The Way drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kunt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from The Way. As The Way looks to move away, Kunt throws a big counter combo but The Way just gets out of the way. Kiwi Kunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Do You Know The Way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Kunt. The Way is looking for the big counter here. The Way shoots in but Kunt avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kunt is looking for a counter combo. The Way fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The Way shoots in and drives through. Kunt sprawls well. Kunt throws a quick counter head kick but The Way was just out of range. The Way takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kunt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Way throws a half hearted mid kick. Kunt went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Kunt connects with a solid leg kick. The Way shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than The Way was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kunt wants to get back to his feet but The Way drags him back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Way tries to advance to mount but can't. The Way passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kunt! Kunt really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kunt tries to buck The Way off but he can't manage it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kiwi Kunt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Do You Know The Way is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kunt is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Kiwi Kunt showed his dominance in that final round. I think The Way has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
