Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip Roth (ranked 2457 p4p, 1814 weight class) and Colonel Chi (ranked 240 p4p, 187 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colonel Chi!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth tries to close the distance and clinch but Chi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Chi lands a nice looking body shot.
A jab from Chi misses.
Chi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chi gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Chi lands with a cross.
Roth moves away from the strike by Chi.
As Chi looks to move away, Roth throws a big counter combo but Chi just gets out of the way.
Roth moves out of range of the strikes.
Roth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Roth jumps guard but Chi stands there with Roth around his waist. Roth gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Roth is trying to pull guard but Chi turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Chi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Roth tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chi smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Philip Roth. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chi catches Roth with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Roth takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Roth moves in looking to clinch but Chi pushes him off.
Roth swings away with a body shot that misses
and Chi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chi throws a shot from downtown. Roth moves away and avoids it.
Chi lands a jab to the head.
Chi throws a hook but Roth avoids it easily.
Roth is looking to clinch.
Roth uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chi.
Roth was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chi misses with a jab to the body
and Roth counters with a stiff right hand.
Chi has managed to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chi lands a body shot in the clinch.
Roth manages to pull guard.
Chi is pushing down on Roth's leg trying to pass to half guard. Roth is fighting to maintain full guard but Chi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Roth gets full guard.
Roth trying to keep a closed guard but Chi is proving a slippery customer.
Chi sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roth looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Chi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Roth not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chi stays in close to Roth's body and controls the position.
Roth working for a triangle but Chi defends it easily.
Chi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chi has managed to get both his arms back between Roth's legs - danger averted.
Chi wants to pass the guard but Roth is keeping the position.
Roth is looking for a triangle but Chi pushes his legs off easily.
Chi content to stall in guard here.
Roth is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chi is aware though and is defending well.
Chi stopping the sweep attempt from Roth.
Chi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Roth has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Chi is looking to defend but Roth has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Chi! Roth pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Chi taps out and this one is all over!
