Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neil Nucombe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bella Miele!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miele moves out of range of the strikes.
Nucombe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Miele tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Nucombe counters with a stiff right hand.
Neil Nucombe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miele throws a series of punches but Nucombe moves out of range.
Nucombe misses with a double jab
and Miele decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nucombe's guard.
Nucombe is pulling down on Miele's head to control his posture.
Nucombe wants to control but Miele passes easily into half guard.

Miele stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Nucombe to get to his feet.
Miele changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nucombe tries to avoid it but Miele manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nucombe to the ground. Nucombe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Miele shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nucombe napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Miele tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miele has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Miele laying and praying for a moment but Nucombe takes advantage and regains half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miele is thwarting Nucombe's attempts to control the position.
Well, if Miele is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Miele seems to be looking for submissions.
Miele drops an elbow to the side of Nucombe's head.
Miele passes to side control.
Miele is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nucombe has escaped the position, nice work there.

Miele decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nucombe to his feet.
Nucombe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miele was well out of range. Poor timing from Nucombe.
Miele scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Miele moves away from the strike by Nucombe.
Miele moves into range and clinches up with Nucombe.
Miele blocks a body shot from Nucombe.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Miele blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Nucombe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nucombe tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
A head punch on the inside from Nucombe fails to land.
Miele jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nucombe walks away with a smile on his face. Miele gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bella Miele dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nucombe misses with an uppercut.
Miele is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nucombe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Miele counters with a body kick that stops Nucombe in his tracks momentarily.
Nucombe tries to sprawl but Miele drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Bella Miele has got the better of the ground game so far.
Miele with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Nucombe is trying to control but can't.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miele in particular looking to stall.
