Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raz Zar!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zar shoots in and drives through. Rogers sprawls well.

Rogers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Rogers wants to control from the top but Zar keeps moving.

Rogers throws and elbow that misses. Zar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rogers's guard. Nice move by Zar!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rogers uses his free foot to push down on Zar's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zar.

Rogers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Zar is now in Rogers's guard. A big mistake from Rogers there, giving up the dominant position!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Rogers feints and as Zar raises his hands in defense, Rogers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rogers looking to sit in guard and control but Zar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eric Rogers will probably get the nod.

Rogers wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Zar is now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rogers wants to improve his position but Zar is controlling well.

Rogers shoots for a takedown but Zar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Rogers counters with a series of strikes. Zar will be more careful next time no doubt.

Eric Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raz Zar.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Zar looks for a takedown but Rogers sprawls well.

Well Rogers has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
