Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez tries to clinch up but Crescenzo circles away and keeps his distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Crescenzo! But no joy.
Alvarez fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alvarez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Crescenzo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Crescenzo feints and as Alvarez raises his hands in defense, Crescenzo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Crescenzo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alvarez is on top in guard.

Crescenzo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Alvarez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Alvarez gets caught napping as Crescenzo dives in and scores a takedown. Alvarez manages to retain guard.
Crescenzo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Alvarez is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crescenzo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Alvarez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Alvarez content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Crescenzo has locked up a guillotine! Crescenzo's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Alvarez is holding on here and Crescenzo must be using up a lot of energy. Alvarez has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Crescenzo gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
