The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Pawn is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Dalton.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dalton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Pawn is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Dalton off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
I really don't envy Pawn right now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dalton controlling the position well here. Pawn rolled but Dalton kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

What can Pawn do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

This is a sustained period of stalling by Dalton.

Dalton is cranking Pawn's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Pawn! He's tightened the choke and Pawn is tapping out!
