The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Perry moves into range and clinches up with Hughes. Perry gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Perry (2) vs (0) Hughes Perry seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hughes controls Perry momentarily but Perry frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hughes looking for a triangle here. Perry is fighting it but it looks tight! Hughes pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Perry is tapping out - this one is all over!
