Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miura Guts (ranked 2122 p4p, 3064 weight class) and Aqissiac Jacira (ranked 213 p4p, 307 weight class). Jacira has chosen Cherokee War Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacira lands a right hook to the body.
Guts looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jacira rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Guts counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Aqissiac Jacira has been cut.
Aqissiac Jacira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guts throws the kick towards the body but Jacira avoids it.
It seemed like Jacira was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Jacira moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Guts moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Guts misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jacira.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jacira has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Guts throws a leg kick that misses.

Guts gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Guts throws a wild body kick that Jacira sees coming a mile off.
Jacira scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Guts doesn't seem bothered though.

Guts shoots in and bounces Jacira off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Guts throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jacira works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jacira is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jacira is pulling down on Guts's head to control his posture.
Guts is pushing down on Jacira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jacira is fighting to maintain full guard but Guts has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jacira is pressing down on Guts's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guts accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jacira avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Jacira has control of Guts's left arm, preventing Guts from doing any damage.
Jacira wants to sweep but no luck.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jacira takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Guts scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Jacira is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Guts can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
