Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mate Orsic (ranked 460 p4p, 962 weight class) and Wesley Clark (ranked 61 p4p, 118 weight class). Orsic comes to the cage accompanied by KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja. Wesley Clark has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mate Orsic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wesley Clark! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orsic keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clark. Clark throws a front kick aimed at Orsic's knee but Orsic avoids it well. It looked like Orsic was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Clark lands a right hook to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Orsic!
Clark uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Orsic.
Clark takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Clark has closed the distance and engaged Orsic in a clinch.
Clark can't find room to land a body shot as Orsic controls the action.

Clark lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Orsic lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Clark doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Clark's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clark looks for a takedown but Orsic sprawls well. Orsic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clark wants to counter the offense by Orsic and move into the clinch position. Clark dodges the punch combination from Orsic.
Clark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Orsic was well out of range. Poor timing from Clark. Orsic has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tran MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Orsic. Clark pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Clark swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Orsic. Clark with the inside leg kick. Clark throws a series of punches but Orsic avoids them all with ease. Orsic scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Clark falls off balance throwing a combination
and Orsic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Clark ducks right into an uppercut from Orsic. Orsic punishes Clark's body with a nice straight punch. Orsic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Clark darts in looking for a takedown but Orsic gets double underhooks and turns Clark into the cage. Orsic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Clark explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Clark fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mate Orsic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wesley Clark. A looping hook to the body misses from Clark. Orsic does a little dance to reset his feet. Clark misses with a lunging right hand
and Orsic counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orsic fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Clark on the side of the head. Clark takes a swing at Orsic's ribcage but misses. Clark fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Orsic avoids it really well and circles away. Clark takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Good work by Orsic as he checks the leg kick. Clark throws a series of punches but Orsic moves out of range. Clark throws a leg kick that is checked and Orsic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Clark ducks right into an uppercut from Orsic. Orsic on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Orsic scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Clark is working to avoid the ground and pound but Orsic connects with a decent elbow. Orsic scoring with punches and elbows. Clark is trying to buck Orsic off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orsic is looking to take a break and control but Clark is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Orsic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Orsic working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Orsic lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Clark is looking for a sweep. Clark taking a bit of punishment here - Orsic scoring with strikes. Orsic looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Orsic working the body and head with strikes.
Clark is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clark is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Clark is still in real trouble! Can Orsic finish him? Clark tries to escape but Orsic is in control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orsic tries for a kimura but Clark is defending well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Orsic grinds an elbow into Clark's temple. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mate Orsic dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Orsic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Clark doesn't seem bothered though. Clark throws a right and a left that both miss. A big left from Clark misses. Orsic swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Orsic lands an overhand right. Clark with a poor takedown and Orsic counters with a left right combination that sends Clark crashing to the mat - Orsic wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Clark out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mate Orsic! Mate Orsic seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
