The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Route pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Route cracks Soares with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Route tries a head kick but it misses.
En Route seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Route throws a shot from downtown. Soares moves away and avoids it.
Route fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
