Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Montriel Zekeski (ranked 4074 p4p, 4076 weight class) and Tyler Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Richard's choice of entrance music: Eatin Pussy, Kickin Ass. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Zekeski. No joy for Richard on that attempt.

Zekeski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Richard tries to pull guard but Zekeski forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Richard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Richard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zekeski sprawls well. Zekeski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Richard gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Zekeski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Montriel Zekeski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Richard.
Zekeski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Richard's waist but Richard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zekeski off to one side.

Zekeski clobbers Richard with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zekeski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Zekeski stuns Richard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Zekeski wants to stand but Richard is controlling the position.

Richard stands up from Zekeski's guard - Richard perhaps looking for a knockout.
Zekeski ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Richard looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Richard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zekeski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Richard.

Richard thows a huge punch but Zekeski dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Richard prevents Zekeski from standing back up.

Richard decides to return to a standing position.

Zekeski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Richard shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Zekeski connects with a right hand. Richard shakes it off.
Zekeski stuns Richard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Richard takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Zekeski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Richard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Zekeski fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Richard is out of range.

and Zekeski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zekeski has Richard up against the cage in a clinch.
Richard tries to pull guard but Zekeski won't allow it.
Zekeski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Zekeski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Richard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Richard drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Zekeski scores with a three punch combo!
Zekeski stalks Richard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Richard's face. Richard staggers backwards, shaken.
Zekeski lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Richard blocks a head kick by Zekeski.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Richard shoots in for a double leg but Zekeski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
As Richard looks to move away, Zekeski throws a big counter combo but Richard just gets out of the way.
Zekeski's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Zekeski duly obliges.

It looks like Tyler Richard has been cut.
Zekeski drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Richard right on the button. Richard goes down! Zekeski follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Zekeski gets the win via TKO!
