And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Daaniel Teteny!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Shalit clinches with his opponent.
Shalit has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Teteny avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Teteny is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shalit doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Teteny.

Teteny is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shalit defends it well.

We've been hearing good reports from Shalit's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Teteny avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Teteny content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Shalit has locked up a guillotine! Shalit's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Teteny is holding on here and Shalit must be using up a lot of energy. Teteny has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Shalit gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
