Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wu Hu (ranked 3759 p4p, 5673 weight class) and Adrian Ortiz (ranked 381 p4p, 484 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adrian Ortiz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hu has a takedown stuffed.
Hu tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ortiz defends well and Hu ends up having to push Ortiz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A nice side step and Ortiz releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Ortiz is trying to maintain a safe position but Hu gets an underhook and turns Ortiz into the cage.
Ortiz working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Hu effectively controlling the action here.
Ortiz misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Ortiz manages to break the clinch.
Hu throws a looping overhand right but Ortiz ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ortiz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Wu Hu has been cut.
Ortiz throws a shot to the body.
Hu shoots in and drives through. Ortiz sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wu Hu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Ortiz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ortiz takes a swing at Hu's ribcage but misses.
Hu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ortiz slips under a jab from Hu.
Ortiz appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Hu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ortiz.
Hu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hu takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Hu closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ortiz to the mat! Ortiz manages to get full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ortiz can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hu tries to land a leg kick but Ortiz saw it coming and moves away.
Ortiz is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hu with a body shot.

Hu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ortiz as he avoids it easily.

and Ortiz counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hu! Ortiz lets Hu back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Hu is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ortiz counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Hu out cold! What a finish! Ortiz is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
