Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gord Downey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jarno Saarinen!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downey clinches up against the cage.
Downey wants the takedown. Saarinen is fighting it off but Downey persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Saarinen's guard against the cage.

Saarinen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Downey walks away with a smile on his face. Saarinen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Saarinen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Downey throws out the jab.
Saarinen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Saarinen lands in his opponent's guard.
