Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Suade Loc (ranked 3856 p4p, 4401 weight class) and Marc Schlager (ranked 375 p4p, 406 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schlager moves into the clinch.
Loc goes for a takedown in the clinch but Schlager prevents it.
Schlager jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Loc walks away with a smile on his face. Schlager gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Schlager looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Loc closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Loc lands in his opponent's guard.

Loc drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Loc jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Loc has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Schlager working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Loc doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Loc manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
