Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel DC (ranked 5384 p4p, 5195 weight class) and Steve Ryker (ranked 546 p4p, 534 weight class). DC comes to the cage accompanied by Wolf Totem. Ryker has chosen Killing in the Name of- Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel DC!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Ryker!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ryker lands with a right to the head.
With the fighters up against the cage, Ryker throws an elbow but misses.
Ryker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ryker pushes DC up against the cage in a clinch.
Ryker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from DC.
DC gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ryker regains guard.
DC stops Ryker from standing up.
DC knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryker on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DC stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryker is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
DC has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ryker trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
DC shoots in for a takedown but Ryker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ryker is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
DC is breathing heavily.
DC shoots and misses
and Ryker counters with a three punch combo that has DC backing up. DC nods at Ryker to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel DC. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ryker has managed to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
DC takes an elbow to the forehead.
Ryker missing with knees to the body.
Ryker lands a body shot.
A short right from Ryker on the inside.
Ryker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
DC has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ryker clinches with his opponent.
Ryker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ryker is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops DC like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving DC from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Ryker!
After the fight, Steve Ryker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Daniel DC spoke after the fight, saying 'Learn, grow and come back stronger. I will return'.
