The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Walls closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jacobs did well to prevent Walls getting side control.
Jacobs trying to hold on to Walls's head to control him but Walls postures up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Walls lands a nice short elbow.
Walls lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Walls slows the pace down in half guard.
Walls has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jacobs wants to hold on but Walls pushes him away.
