Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mmm Mmm (ranked 23254 p4p, 5857 weight class) and Zambosurian Inday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mmm Mmm has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Inday shoots in looking for a takedown. Mmm tries to sprawl out of it but Inday keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mmm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mmm throws a big counter combination but Inday scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Inday stuffs the takedown attempt from Mmm. Mmm gets slowly back to his feet.
Inday replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mmm blocks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Inday kicks off Mmm and gets to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Mmm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Inday swivels and escapes.
Inday thinks about the counter body kick.
Inday throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mmm's waist but Mmm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Inday off to one side.
Mmm shoots for a takedown but Inday saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mmm is defended easily by Inday.
Inday steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Inday shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mmm as he avoids it easily.
Mmm quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Mmm drives through with a takedown into Inday's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Mmm postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mmm controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mmm seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Inday for as long as he can get away with.
Inday wants to sweep here but Mmm controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Inday pulls Mmm in close to his closed guard and prevents Mmm from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Inday dives in for a single leg takedown but Mmm sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mmm jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

That was a close round but I would say that Mmm Mmm will probably get the nod.

Mmm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Inday is fending him off so far but Mmm persists. Nope, Inday circles away and we're back to standing.

Inday is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mmm's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mmm's back!
Inday is trying to stick to Mmm's back but Mmm is turning into Inday. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Inday's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Mmm.

Mmm trying to control the position from guard on top but Inday is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mmm looking to sit in guard and control but Inday gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mmm is trying to control the position but Inday postures up.
Inday slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Inday is fighting to break Mmm's control of his arms but Mmm is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Inday's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Inday closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mmm's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zambosurian Inday showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Inday is taking a breather. Mmm says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Mmm changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Inday tries to avoid it but Mmm manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Inday to the ground. Inday escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mmm dives in for a single leg takedown but Inday sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And Inday responds with a good body kick, but Mmm manages to step out the way in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mmm drops down looking for an ankle pick but Inday pulls his leg out and moves away.

Mmm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inday as he jumps to the side.

Inday closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
