Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jero Wolf (ranked 1337 p4p, 1784 weight class) and Rio Gracie (ranked 162 p4p, 219 weight class). Wolf comes to the cage accompanied by Better Together. Rio Gracie acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jero Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rio Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Gracie.
Gracie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wolf throws a chopping leg kick but Gracie manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wolf scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wolf takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
A nice side step and Gracie releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

We've been hearing reports that Wolf has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Wolf's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wolf, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
