Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edwin Irving!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Malakai Raminov!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irving lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Irving lunges at Raminov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Raminov's hand.
Raminov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Irving scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Raminov tries for a takedown but Irving sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Raminov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Irving is fending him off so far but Raminov persists. Nope, Irving circles away and we're back to standing.
Raminov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Raminov takes one to the chin there.

Raminov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Irving!
Irving could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Irving is trying to control Raminov's posture but Raminov avoids it.
Irving prevents Raminov from moving into mount.

Raminov working the ground and pound.

Raminov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Raminov working the body and head with strikes.
Raminov controls the position from side control.
Irving struggling a bit here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Irving is trying to improve his position.

Raminov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Raminov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Irving keeps working.
Raminov looks winded!
Irving sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Irving is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Raminov pulls his head out easily.

Irving actively working from the bottom here.
Raminov is just content to waste time from the top position. Irving takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Irving has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Raminov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Irving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Irving is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Raminov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Raminov is trying to control. Irving wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Irving is trying to control but Raminov manages to pass to mount!
Irving is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Irving really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Irving is in a horrible position here. Raminov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Raminov landing strikes, looking to finish!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Malakai Raminov will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Raminov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Raminov takes one to the chin there.
Irving stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Irving scores with a nice strike.
Irving throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Raminov on the side of the head.
Raminov fails with the takedown
and Irving counters with a stiff right hand.

Raminov is rocked!
Edwin Irving is winning the standup battle so far.
Raminov misses with a takedown
and Irving counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Irving scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Raminov doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Raminov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Irving counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Edwin Irving has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Malakai Raminov.
Raminov is breathing heavily.
Raminov has a takedown stuffed.

Irving sends Raminov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Irving is motioning to the referee to let Raminov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Raminov is still on wobbly legs! Can Irving finish him?
Irving fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Raminov to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Raminov looks to clinch but Irving throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Raminov taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Edwin Irving!
Our winner, Edwin Irving, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
