Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Payne (ranked 2926 p4p, 5255 weight class) and Dario Bin Laden (ranked 303 p4p, 461 weight class). Payne comes to the cage accompanied by "Bring Out Your Dead" Strung Out. Dario Bin Laden looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Payne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dario Bin Laden!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Payne.
The crowd cheers as Payne lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bin Laden doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Dario Bin Laden has been cut.
Payne circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bin Laden wants to clinch up but Payne keeps it at a distance.
Bin Laden wants to clinch
and Payne counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bin Laden has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Payne.

Bin Laden gets a clinch.

Payne decides to pull guard.

Payne working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bin Laden doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bin Laden manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bin Laden won't allow Payne to sweep him here.

Payne is looking for a triangle but Bin Laden pushes his legs off easily.
Payne tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bin Laden postures up in Payne's guard and throws a big left but Payne blocks it.

Payne has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bin Laden can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bin Laden wants to control from the top but Payne keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Payne is looking to sweep but instead, Bin Laden has passed into half guard.
Bin Laden seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Payne does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Payne wants to improve his position but Bin Laden is controlling well.
Payne is working hard here to advance position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Payne manages to get to full guard.
Bin Laden looks winded!

Payne looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bin Laden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Payne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Payne isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bin Laden stacks Payne on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bin Laden!
Payne tries to bench press Bin Laden off him but Bin Laden keeps the position.

Payne regains half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Payne manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Payne is on top in guard.

Payne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bin Laden swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bin Laden looking for a guillotine here but Payne defends easily.

Payne is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bin Laden can't keep his opponent in guard - Payne advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Payne looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Payne has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bin Laden defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Payne.

Payne looking to isolate an arm here. Bin Laden doesn't see it coming and as Payne extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Payne!

Our winner, Jason Payne, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
