Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Laime (ranked 4088 p4p, 2865 weight class) and Do You Know The Way (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laime kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chambea. Do You Know The Way has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cruz Laime! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Do You Know The Way! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Way shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Laime napping and manages to drive through into side control! Laime tries to control but The Way manages to take his back. The Way is trying to stick to Laime's back but Laime is turning into The Way. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in The Way's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Laime. The Way preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Laime trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Laime trying to control but The Way is working from the bottom. Laime throws an elbow that misses. The Way uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Laime's guard. Nice move by The Way! The Way controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The Way wants to pass the guard but Laime is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Way content to stall in guard here. The Way's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The Way preventing the sweep. Laime manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Way manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Laime missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Way bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Laime's guard. Laime is trying to hold The Way in close to prevent damage but The Way has managed to pass into half guard.
The Way slows the pace down in half guard. It looks like The Way might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Let's hope that The Way has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laime is trying to maintain the position but The Way is very close to passing his half guard. Laime has a hand on The Way's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. The Way takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! The Way tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Laime tries to reverse the position but The Way maintains control. Laime is breathing heavily. The Way controlling from mount. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from The Way. Yet more stalling tactics from The Way. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Do You Know The Way dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Laime misses with a two punch combination.
Laime moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromThe Way. The Way scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cruz Laime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Way takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cruz Laime is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Laime misses with a kick to the body and The Way counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Laime! Laime wants to get back to his feet but The Way is dominant here and he's now got Laime's back! The Way has the hooks in. Laime is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. I would not like to be Laime right now.
Laime is trying to get back to his feet but The Way has full control of the position and if anything, Laime has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Way is riding his opponent, not letting Laime buck him off. Laime trying to get back to his feet but The Way is in full control for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Laime is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Laime trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Laime is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by The Way.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Laime trying to control but not successfully. Do You Know The Way has got the better of the ground game so far. I would not like to be Laime right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Way is hanging on to Laime's back as he tries to escape.
A bit of a pause in the action here. The Way controlling the positon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The Way is continuing to stall. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Do You Know The Way showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! The Way lands a nice leg kick that just misses Laime's sensitive parts. Laime lands a jab-cross combination. Nice body kick from Laime. A momentary lapse in concentration from Laime enables The Way to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Laime manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Laime is looking to stand back up but The Way counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Laime. Laime missing with punches from the bottom.
The Way works his foot free and advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Way controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laime is looking to improve his position but The Way isn't that keen on the idea. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Way sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Laime keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Laime wants to control but The Way is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The Way content just to control the position here. Laime tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cruz Laime has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Way controlling the pace for now. You get the feeling that Laime really doesn't like being in this position too much.
