Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Carter Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carter Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Carter Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machado gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Machado had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Carter Jr is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Machado Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Carter Jr's back instead.

Carter Jr tries to bum rush Machado with a series of wild strikes but Machado uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
