Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Spence (ranked 2882 p4p, 22387 weight class) and LeBron James (ranked 0 p4p, 556 weight class). LeBron James will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, LeBron James!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spence tries to close the distance and clinch up but James swats him away and circles back towards the center.
James displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Spence throws out the jab.
Spence throws an uppercut from half a mile away. James sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Spence throws out a loose jab but James uses good head movement to avoid it.
Spence tries to clinch but fails miserably

and James decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Spence's guard.
Spence is looking to stand back up but James counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Spence.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spence looks to land a left hand but James moved out of range nicely.

James changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

And James tries to counter it with a takedown but Spence pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Spence throws a poor cross that misses

so James counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Spence wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and James manages to pass to side control.
