Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clinch King Smash Machine (ranked 1349 p4p, 2585 weight class) and Sammy Beach (ranked 194 p4p, 327 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Clinch King Smash Machine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Beach! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beach throws a body punch but Smash Machine moves out of range. Beach doesn't manage to clinch there - Smash Machine circles away.
Beach avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Beach clinches up against the cage. We've been informed that Beach has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Beach prevents the takedown attempt.

Beach displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smash Machine throws out the jab. Beach tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Beach fails in his attempt to clinch. Sammy Beach dominated that round. The cut man is working on Clinch King Smash Machine's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beach wants it to stay on the feet. Beach lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smash Machine circles away quickly and effectively. Smash Machine gets the takedown into side control. Smash Machine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Smash Machine trying to control the action but Beach is working from the bottom. Beach prevents Smash Machine from moving into mount.

Smash Machine tries to pass to full mount but Beach defends it. Smash Machine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Smash Machine trying to control from Beach's half guard. Beach has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Smash Machine wants to pass the guard but Beach is keeping the position. Beach looking for a sweep. Not yet Beach, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smash Machine slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Beach pushes Smash Machine off and gets back to his feet.
Smash Machine shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beach as he jumps to the side. Beach is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Smash Machine with a body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clinch King Smash Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smash Machine throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beach sees it coming and avoids it easily. Smash Machine avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Clinch King Smash Machine will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Smash Machine scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Smash Machine comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Smash Machine pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Smash Machine scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Smash Machine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Smash Machine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beach swivels and escapes. Smash Machine sets himself, and Beach steps forward looking for the clinch! Smash Machine avoids it this time. Smash Machine tries to keep at a distance but Beach has taken the fight into the clinch. Smash Machine stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Beach misses with a short punch on the inside. Smash Machine breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Smash Machine ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Smash Machine no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Beach wants to stand but Smash Machine has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Beach controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Smash Machine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Beach tries to clinch but Smash Machine is having none of it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Smash Machine. Smash Machine feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Beachs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Beach swings for the body but Smash Machine moves out of range.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clinch King Smash Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smash Machine blocks a body shot from Beach. Sammy Beach seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Smash Machine is working for takedown but Beach is calmly controlling the position for now. Smash Machine gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Beach regains guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beach is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Beach misses with a hook from the clinch. Beach gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Smash Machine.
