The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McRidger closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming OMelovich to the mat! OMelovich manages to get full guard.

and McRidger counters with a series of strikes that sends OMelovich to the canvas! McRidger follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and McRidger counters with a left and a right that hurts OMelovich! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! McRidger jumps into full mount!
Oh OMelovich is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McRidger cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

OMelovich's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

McRidger stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well McRidger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
